Building speakers right from the ground up allows us to explore other fascinating properties along the way, such as the ability to generate movement, or to be incorporated into other materials such as fabric or even into other objects such as RFID tags.

Rather than using standard coils of wire to form the speaker, other techniques such as crochet or weaving and knitting can be adopted.

Utilising the PCB manufacturing technique allows Speakers to be printed directly onto bards as part of the circuitry.
