Alternate materials

Bioplastics derived from cellulose and milk were utilised prior to the development of synthetic plastics derived from petrochemicals. Casein ( derived from milk) and Chitosan ( derived from shrimps and other sources) offerer various possibilites to mould or print structures and housings with various qualities including composting.

Casein

In a similar process to making cheese, casein can be removed from milk and then moulded into forms.
